“Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.”
― Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Preach it Brother Adams!
My goodness, he wasn't kidding.
I am 12% of the way through making rolls for 1,000 cubic LY of space. I'm using the rules as given in Machinations of the Space Princess by James Desborough but I'm going to be tweaking things along the way with a variety of PDFs I have purchased at DriveThruRPG.com.
In the grander scheme of things I'm also thinking of using this setting, this galaxy, for a variety of sci-fi games. Some will be mashed together in one way or another and others will take place during different time periods of the galaxy, if not different corners of it.
We'll see how it goes...
